A Blockbuster Night

It seems that we have been making it a blockbuster night for the past month. It's cheaper than premium satellite and we get to choose what we ant to see. Next on our list is the 4400, it seems to be a hidden jewel that I have been missing. It deals with paranormal abilities as telekinesis, mind control, supersensitive hearing, and even, the power to revive the dead. I can't believe I am not watching this. Maybe because it's on USA. In any case, I am excited I really want to like it.

I Miss My Friends - Damn Gas prices!!!

My BFF probably wont like this picture of her, but its the cutest. Our Yosemite camping trip was one of my Top 10 moments together. I miss movie nights. You must come and have movie marathon like we did on halloween last year.

Wow as I write this, Leny calls me and tells me that she is twelve weeks pregnant. Awesome. Not too long ago I heard her sister (my friend to)is pregnant. And the coolest part is that they have the same due date. What are the odds. Congrats to both couples.

loud nieghbors

It seems that we are not the only tenants that are disturbed by our next door neighbor. The tenant two door over came over and ask me to confirm the banging ruckus sandwiched in between us. I said yes. Seems as though he is a recording artist and the apartment is a into a studio. How hum. That blows my idea of the couple really getting into it.

Freakdance

Freak Dance: The Forbidden Dirty Boogaloo More sex than Flashdance. More drama than Footloose. More danger than the Lambada. More dance fighting than You Got Served. More pretentiousness than Save the Last Dance... Freak Dance is a straight up, in your face musical theater extravaganza.

"It's Dr. Jones to you Doll"

I don't usually do movie reviews but, I know people are going to talk about this at the water cooler.
Yes some friends and I went to the midnight viewing of the latest Indy Adventure last night. For the Record, I just want to say it felt like the ride. The action is practically non-stop and fun. It was a fun movie. Its' been a while since I have seen a movie the first night with a captivated fans. I don't want to ruin the movie but, my review comes in just about as the movie ends. For those who have seen or will see it you might agree that the film has some weakness and some far fetched ideas. You might read more on Travicon.com later this week for his colorful review and his take on the new film. Lets just say the Asgard are not picking their roles wisely.

Here is what one critic said on rotten tomatoes, and I must agree;

"Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is probably the worst of the Indiana Jones movies, but it's still pretty much a delight, from the beginning almost until the end." critic from rotten.

I didn't want to go to rotten to get the review, but I think for once they are being truthful. I think you should make you own judgment and don't go by the "T-Meter" alone.

A good thing about the film, Cate Blanchet. Maybe one of the best villains in a film. With that hair and Ukrainian accent, you would not believe that that is her. Wow awesome performance. Travicon also loved her, I wonder why.

Untitled: Acrylic on Canvas

A view of my studio. This is my recent painting for the living room, over the couch.
Specifically 2 of 3.

Here are the other two of the remaining three. I wanted to try and create some art deco pieces to gain quantity and add to my collection. See what I have been doing lately is flipping through an art catalog and making my own version of the painting(s) I like, with my style and flava.
I have started a new one I will show the fans a picture later.

No garden makes Lisa a dull girl

I thought I would start a window garden, but the savage heat of the valley did not let it grow. We were looking forward to the tomatoes.

ME and Mulder

When I am at my computer surfing for a job or chatting with friends "Husband". Mulder wants to join.

This is Mulder on a hot day last week, So the hot he was.

New direction

Since the move to Northridge I have been doing a little search for the direction of my life. As I write this the episode of I Love Lucy is on where Lucy has an inferiority complex and she doesn't want to get out of bed and thinks she is good for nothing. That's how I have been feeling for months. I know I am a creative person, but when I (you) can't show the world, you feel unimportant. So I have been painting to release that craftyness within me out.

Well, I did not get to graduate Mt. Sac, I still need one more class. But good news I have enrolled at CSUN to further my education and fulfill my time and knowledge. I have enough credits to join as a Junior. I am excited. But not excited to take the math entry level exam. Blah
